On April 4, 2024, ÚNETE held its first event to present the 2023 Activity Report, attended by the heads of the four consulates that ÚNETE supports, along with business leaders and beneficiaries. During the event, it was announced that by December 2023, more than 1,065 individuals had benefited from services in preventive medicine, primary dental care, preventive oncology, and mental health.
At the ceremony, companies that have shown social responsibility and supported the initiative from the beginning were honored, with Latin Capital and El Asadero Mexican Grill receiving special recognition. Additionally, awards were presented to the companies that have supported the medical brigades carried out at each of the consulates.
Our first year of field activities has clearly demonstrated that, through corporate support and solidarity, we can overcome the social barriers that prevent access to healthcare for all. This collaboration serves as a powerful example of how local businesses can play a pivotal role in transforming health outcomes in underserved communities, much like in other Latin American countries where private sector partnerships are key to bridging health equity gaps.
